This large oversize souvenir (9" x 14") was meant to be mailed and is in UNPOSTED condition!
When opened there is a folder showing images of Alaska and History on both sides.
Inside this folder are 4 sheets containing 6 Alaskan Animals that you take off sheet and form Origami type 3-D Animals.
Included:
Kodiak Bear / 1 sheet
Alaskan Moose Wall Trophy / 1 sheet
Walrus / 1/2 sheet
Polar Bear Cub / 1/2 sheet
Alaskan Fur Seal / 1/2 sheet
Malemute ( Husky Dog ) / 1/2 sheet
Condition:
Outer mailer envelope shows edge wear,creases and a small tear on one seam.
Folder is very good,with some light creases.
Actual sheets with animals are in excellent condition,animals still fully attached and cant really find anything wrong,looking like day they were bought.
Great Seattle Worlds Fair item that is seldom seen,and almost never with full set of unused sheets!

UP FOR SALE OR AUCTION IS A TRIO OF 1962 SEATTLE WORLD'S FAIR GOOD FOR DOLLARS THE MORE COMMON BRASS ONES ARE FROM 2 DIFFERENT DIES. ONE HAS A SINGLE LINE ON THE PAVILION ROOF UNDERNEATH THE WORD GOOD FOR, THE OTHER HAS MULTIPLE EXTRA LINES -MOST HAVE NO LINES DIAGONALLY ON THE PAVILION ROOF. THE LAST ONE IS AN ULTRA SCARCE OFF METAL EXAMPLE.
I CALLED NO LESS AN EXPERT THAN JEFF SHEVLIN- "THE SO CALLED GUY" TO FIND OUT ABOUT THE RARITY OF THIS PIECE - - -HE HAS OWNED ONE!
THIS IS THE FIRST ONE I'VE EVER SEEN AND I CALLED GOOD FOR EXPERT DON BARSI WHO SAID HE THOUGHT THE MINTAGE WAS LESS THAN 100 AND SAID IT IS ONE OF THE TRUE MODERN RARITIES IN THE GOOD FOR TOKEN HOBBY.
IT HAS ALSO BEEN SUGGESTED THAT THESE WERE GIVEN TO DIGNITARIES AT THE FAIR AND THERE WAS NEVER A PUBLIC RELEASE.
